Disastroid
Disastroid is hard-driving music for the working stiff who plans on opting out at any minute. The music is like the Minutemen puffing blunts with Ice Cube as he's putting the last touches on AmeriKKKa; it's the Police with the tape slowed to Sabbath-heavy proportions, or a lost Nirvana cover of something by the Mahavishnu Orchestra. From the sun-bleached surf punk scene of Santa Cruz to the nightlife of San Francisco, Disastroid wants to burn down the foodcourt in the wall-to-wall strip mall, & call out the baby-kissing politician who's been FIXING THE VOTE. Fast Piece of Furniture
The Washington Post proclaims that Ohio based band Fast Piece of Furniture "could be called Americana, a term that promises music that's down-home and a bit grandiose. There's nothing overblown about the melodies, arrangements and musicianship of this appealing, gently eclectic Ohio quartet". The Heard
The Heard has proven to be Chicago's most explosive act. Coming from eclectic musical backgrounds each of the six members of The Heard bring thier own flavor to the recordings and live performances. Since The Heard writes and records all of thier own music from a home studio every inch of what you hear comes soley from the compositional prowess of six rock, jazz, funk, and r&b musicians who decided to take a chance with an experimental form of hip-hop. The Heard's first LP "Genesis" will be released on DC-Jam Records in late May or early June with 15 funked up tracks that will keep heads bouncin throughout the century.

Plan B
Chicago based Plan "B" is consists of lead guitarist Dan Agosto, bass player Jon Makarewicz, vocalist and backup guitarist Brad Smith and Randall Murphey on drums. Plan "B" is the logical conclusion of the years Brad Smith spent writing music in his parent's basement during high school. The music is along the lines of Wilco or Whiskeytown with lyrical elements found in Cursive's or Weezer's work.
