PAINTED WILLIE
Formed in Los Angeles in 1982 from the ashes of Sin 34, Painted Willie debuted on SST Records with the label's trademark sense of adolescent humor, though tied more to straight-ahead rock than punk or hardcore. For the next five years, the band shared the stage touring with brother bands Black Flag, The Meat Puppets, fIREHOSE & Saccharine Trust before finally calling it quits in 1987.
In 2008, Painted Willie signed with DC-Jam Records for the re-release of their 1985 signature record, "Mind Bowling" which is now available for the first time ever in digital and CD format.
